I will not bend

 Today I felt as if I was there again, the darkness, the hand on my throat. I am suffocating. It's never really over; it comes when I least expect it. I can't escape you. You were my downfall. I won't let you take me, I won't let you take me. I stand in light. I stand. I put these pieces back together, I was forged in fire.
