Thursday

 I have tried all sorts of dating apps, searched high and low for love, attempted to be available, and gone out, but all of these options have still left me standing alone. I have many stories as well as nightmares of the dates. I haven't given up on love... but maybe it has given up on me for now. This upcoming Thursday, I am trying again. 

When I lived abroad in England I met a girl who was a social media promoter for a company called Thursday, which happens to be a company that is based on dating in real life. I thought this app was only based in the UK. Recently it has crossed the pond, and this Thursday I will see what it's truly about. 

I mean it can't be worse than my attempts. 

The event is held at a brewery, which seems decent. Bars have a different demeanor, one that can be a little more forceful and in your face, while a brewery seems to be more subtle and all about the vibe. Hopefully, I am somebody's vibe. Not only will they have the brew, but they also are bringing a comedy crew to riff on blind dates happening live. 

I am excited to hopefully try this new form of dating. If I don't find anyone or vibe with anyone, at least I had some laughs and brews.
