Reflect

 2023, what a year!

Teacher, Traveler, Server, Daughter, and Friend. I accomplished so much and it amazes me. Looking back I smile on the good and bad. For the lessons I learned, and for the hardships that made me a little tougher.

Teaching

I miss it. Simple as that. I miss my mornings when the students would stumble in with sleep in their eyes, and grumble good mornings to me. I miss the laughter and trust we shared. I miss the honesty and youthful imagination. I miss being needed and supported.

Traveling

D.C, Puerto Rico, Europe. What a time!

D.C

What an adventure. 8 Students, One principal, and a priest. The national mall at night, to rootbeer and bbq. It was a time of friendship and no worries.

Puerto Rico

From historical old San Juan to the kind strangers on the streets, to jungles and rain. Puerto Rico has everything. From the food to the vibrant colors, the city sings endlessly.

Europe

Where dreams became truths, old friends reunited, and new places to explore. Strangers in pubs kindling a romance with one look.

2023 was the year of hope and dreams. I fought and I worked, and I believed.

I am.
