Potentially

Today I discussed a a passion I didn't realize I had hidden within me. Call me a wanderer, a globe trotter, a girl who wants to see as much as possible. During my travels though I was always missing one thing. Home. Home isn't a building, a structure built of four walls. It's a feeling, a safety, a sanctuary. We chase that feeling thinking we will once have it once we buy a place. You don't buy a home. You buy the foundation of a home. The home is what you will build, with your memories, and your stories. Think of places you have called home. It may not even be a place, it may be that one person whose embrace makes you feel as if you two are the only people on this planet. 

I want to be the person who creates that. I want to help others see the vision when thinking of buying a home. I want them to have the ambiance, the location, the safety and security of them knowing that their dreams are becoming a reality. We all have different tastes and preferences, but we all want one thing. A place we can call home. So click your heels together, and let me take you to "there's no place like home". 

So I know I am not a Real Estate tycoon, or even have a real estate license, but I have something that those others do not. I am a traveler, and that has helped me in a way... because I know what it means to even have a small sliver of home when I am away. We chase the feeling without even realizing it. 

When looking at a home, what do you want? What do you desire? I say go crazy, make it yours, create a space that has your signature on it. Once upon a time, we had amazing architects, that created significant and beautiful creations. Now a house looks like a box. Traveling has allowed me to explore architecture, landscape, and different interior design styles. Tell me what you want and I know I will go above and beyond, as well as I can open your horizons to possibilities you didn't even know existed. 

Why do houses have to be so mundane? If you want a library and a hidden speakeasy in your home, let's make that happen. If you want murals on walls, let's find an artist, or why not you become the artist. If you want your front door to look like that of a hobbit house from Lord Of The Rings, let's Do It! A house should be more than just a place to sleep and eat. It should be a place where your imagination can run wild. It should be a place where memories and firsts happen. 

Where you cook a meal for that special date. When you watch Titanic on the couch and cry for the 100th time. You host your first party with all your friends, or you host Thanksgiving or Christmas. You propose, or maybe you end up on your bathroom floor in tears. It can also be where you watch your firstborn grow up, or maybe your parents move in because they face Alzheimer's. 

The possibilities are endless and so are my aspirations. Potentially I can be everything and more. That's the great thing about having so many ideas within oneself. Try! Get up and try!
