Writer

    I have always been a writer. I can still recall my first journal at the young age of 3. A hard-covered purple journal and I filled each page with stories, but to an adult eye, those words looked like intricate scribblings. I would read the stories to my younger cousin, and we would be flown off into the world of a three-year-old. My passion for writing never ceased, I have always written in my journals. In high school, I dabbled with short stories, and in college, I found a niche for poetry. I never allowed myself to fall into writing, but now I realize that was silly. Why would one stop herself from falling in love with writing again? I guess I would just tell myself that I need a career, but I can do this. I know I can, I can make writing and creativity a CAREER! Have faith and take a leap! 

    College was the first time I ever managed to get a piece of my writing published. I was so proud when they accepted my poem. I then turned it into a different form of media for my Videography class, where I brought the piece to life as an amateur producer & director.
