New Chapter
England the Land of Chapters
Possibilities are endless if you allow yourself to take chances. I arrived in England at the end of August. I allowed myself to trust my gut and take a leap of faith. For anyone and everyone who has taken a leap of faith, moved from their families and homes, and left that safety and security behind. You understand then the feeling of uncertainty, the feeling of being a viewer instead of a participant. You see your friends back home living and making memories that you yourself won't be a part of. Remember that they also are your viewers, they are watching you, in awe. Probably inspired and secretly wished they had the bravery to just take a leap of faith. But, not all people allow themselves to be free. Freedom is challenging because it seems to have many strings attached. From responsibilities, obligations, and fear of failure. These are just some causes holding us back from being truly free to fly into the unknown.
What's Holding YOU Back? Is it yourself? Is it your peers? Family Obligations?
What happened to living for yourself. I understand pride and accomplishment, and wanting the best for yourself. But are you listening to yourself, or to the noise around you?
As of today, I am promising myself to write. Write each day, all the thoughts that I have in my mind. Because when I write I have clarity and a sense of purpose. Plus I allow my voice to be free, and not hold back. I am creating this blog not for you viewers, but actually for myself. So I shall hold myself accountable, my writing may be a simple post, advice, a story, a memory, or even a poem. But this blog is to allow myself to be authentically creative. So this is just the beginning of a new chapter. Welcome to the world of Authentically Creative Me.
